<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a color filter, in each of which an ink at the edge of a partition wall (a black matrix) and in the vicinity thereof is cured sufficiently when the ink is discharged onto a color filter substrate by an inkjet method and the discharged ink is irradiated with laser light to cure the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the color filter includes the steps of: dropping the ink including a photocurable monomer and a solvent to the inside of an opening, which is formed on a substrate and surrounded by the partition walls each having light shielding properties, by the inkjet method; drying the solvent of the ink dropped to the inside of the opening; obliquely irradiating the dried ink inside the opening with the light from an irradiation system including a laser or an LED light source to photocure the dried ink; and thermocuring the ink dropped to the inside of the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
