PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower capable of preventing suction of air with predetermined temperature or higher to a body. SOLUTION: A ventilation device of heat exchange type 1A as the air blower includes: an air supply fan 4SA sucking outside air OA and blowing it out as supply air SA; the body 2A having the air supply fan 4SA; an outside air suction port 70OA which is formed in the body 2A and to which air is sucked by the air supply fan 4SA; an OA duct joint 73OA which is mounted to the outside air suction port 70OA and to which a duct having air made to pass through is connected; and a fire damper 9 having a temperature fuse 93 sensing a temperature of air sucked to the body 2A and blocking suction of the air to the body 2A based on the temperature of the air sensed by the temperature fuse 93.
