PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly start travelling when shifting from a non-travelling position to a travelling position. SOLUTION: A vehicle includes a power transmission device incorporating a hydraulic circuit 30 for draining hydraulic fluid in a clutch C1 via a manual valve 40 when a shift lever is in the position N (neutral). In the vehicle, when the shift lever is released from the position N with an engine automatically stopped, driving an electromagnetic pump 70 is just started. When the shift lever decides a position D, the engine is automatically started, and driving of the electromagnetic pump 70 is stopped when the engine completely explodes. This can start the vehicle by quickly engaging the clutch C1 when a mechanical oil pump 32 starts driving according to automatic start of the engine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
