PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of linearly moving a movable body correctly in assumed direction, even with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The actuator includes actuator elements 12 and 12 wherein two sheets formed of electrostrictive material are laminated together and bent in bellows, and a movable body 11 supported by the plurality of actuator elements 12 and 12. In the actuator elements 12 and 12, electrode parts 13 and 13 are intermittently formed on both surfaces of one sheet being laminated.
