PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disassembling method of a structure, which reduces costs involved in disassembling work of the structure. SOLUTION: The disassembling method of a structure disassembles a 24-storied building of a steel structure. The disassembling method practically includes: a process for disassembling an R-story floor leaving a peripheral girder 12; a process for providing a temporary column 20 supported on the 21-story of the multi-storied building 1 and supporting the peripheral girder 12 of the R-story as a temporary beam 43; a process for providing a travelling crane 31 below the temporary beam 43; a process for forming a disassembling work space by providing an outer circumferential scaffold 42 and a temporary roof 41 covering the temporary beam 43 and the temporary column 20; a process for disassembling from the rise of the 24-story to the rise of the 23-story within the disassembling work space; and a process for repeating the work for disassembling, while reducing the (n) one by one from 23, from an n-story floor to the rise of the (n-1) story within the disassembling work space by moving the temporary column 20 lower by one layer and also by supporting the temporary column 20 on the (n-2) (n is a natural number) story of the multi-storied building 1.
