PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide overshoes of simple constitution that can protect shoes and clothing of lower limb parts from contamination caused by rain, snow, dirty water, mud, or the like. SOLUTION: The overshoe 1 can wrap up to the knee 3a of the lower limb 3 following the whole of wearing footwear 2. The overshoe 1 includes a long bag-like body 4 formed of an impermeable material with synthetic resin applied to a material made of a woven fabric, a knitted material or a nonwoven fabric; a string through part 6 formed at a put-on opening 5 of an upper end opening of the body 4; and a binding string 7 inserted through the string through part 6 and having binding pull-out parts 7a pulled out to the outside. When this overshoe is put on, the string through part 6 is loosened to open the put-on opening 5 wide, and the lower limb 3 and the cuff of trousers 8 including the footwear 2 are inserted from the wide-open put-on opening 5. The put-on opening 5 of the overshoe 1 is pulled up above the knee 3a, and the pull-out parts 7a of the binding string 7 are tightened and bound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
