PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly pick up simultaneous pronunciations by a plurality of sounding bodies. SOLUTION: A sound pickup processor 30 generates a signal of an output sound whose sound pickup directivity is controlled based on a plurality of sound pickup signals picked up by a microphone array 2 with a plurality of microphones whose relative positions are fixed. A sounding body information acquisition portion 10 acquires an input of the number of sounding bodies existing within a sound pickup range of the microphone array 2 and arrangement information. A sound pickup directivity range setting portion 20 sets a direction of sound pickup directivity from the microphone array 2 to the sounding body for each of the sounding bodies based on information of the arrangements of the sounding bodies acquired by the sounding body information acquisition portion 10. Further, the sound pickup directivity range setting portion 20 sets a sharpness of sound pickup directivity to the sounding body for each of the sounding bodies based on information of the number of sounding bodies acquired by the sounding body information acquisition portion 10. The sound pickup processor 30 generates a signal of an output sound whose sound pickup directivity is controlled to a direction and a sharpness set by the sound pickup directivity range setting portion 20 and outputs the signal.
