PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module which can be reduced in size and can obtain high focusing accuracy. SOLUTION: This camera module includes a lens 11, a barrel 12 for supporting the lens 11, an image sensor chip 2 in which imaging is performed by a sensor 21 based on light incident via the lens 11 and an imaging signal is outputted, and a wiring board 5 including a window. The barrel 12 is fixed to a surface of the wiring board 5. The image sensor chip 2 is then fixed to a surface of the wiring board 5 opposed to the surface to which the barrel 12 is fixed so as to position the sensor 21 in the window of the wiring board 5.
