The device (10') has a channel (14) provided for supplying gas and fluid. Another channel (16) is provided for discharging of gas and fluid. A separation unit (26) is provided for selective transport of gas and fluid from the former channel into the latter channel. The separation unit exhibits capillary channels (28), which fluidically connects the former and the latter channels. The former channel is designed as a sterile channel that is emptied by the separation unit. The capillary channels are arranged at a distance from each other, and the latter channel is designed as a sterile channel.
