PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device which performs an appropriate operation control by accurately detecting air quantity within the ventilating device by a detection means, even when the air quantity within the ventilating device is small, and contributes to energy saving. SOLUTION: The ventilating device includes: a ventilation frame body 11 having an air flow passage therein by providing an air suction opening 12 on one side and an air exhaust opening 13 on the other side; an air blower 19 provided within the ventilation frame body 11; a damper device 17 controlling the flow rate of air flowing within the ventilation frame body 11; the detection means 18 detecting the flow rate of the air flowing within the ventilation frame body 11; and a control means 20 controlling the air blower 19, the detection means 18 and the damper device 17 based on set instruction when operation setting is performed. The control means 20 performs control to make the damper device 17 get closer to a region where the detection means 18 of the ventilation frame body 11 is installed when weak air quantity operation is set.
