PURPOSE: A method and a device for displaying the magnification of a crossroad are provided to perform an accurate route guide by successively displaying the magnification of a cross road when a vehicle is closed to the crossroad. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying the magnification of a crossroad is as follows. A distance from the current position of a vehicle to a crossroad on a route is calculated(S220). An estimated arrival time is calculated based on the calculated distance and vehicle speed(S230). It is determined whether the estimated arrival time is more than a critical time or not. When the estimated arrival time is more than the critical time, selected multimedia information is prepared through a vehicle terminal. The estimated arrival time matches with a pre-set setting time for displaying the magnification of the crossroad. The magnification of the crossroad is displayed.
