PURPOSE: A system and method for checking a remote battery are provided to replace a backup battery by dispatching an operator only when the backup battery of a base station or repeater is a bad state. CONSTITUTION: A remote battery check system(200) comprises a test execution unit(210), an information generation unit(220), and an information transmission unit(230). The test execution unit executes auto discharge test for a backup battery of a repeater. In consideration of the execution result of the auto discharge test, the information generating unit generates the state information for the backup battery. The information transmission unit transmits the generated state information to an NMS(Network Management System).
