PURPOSE: A water meter for multiply preventing backflow is provided to prevent sewage from backward flowing by smoothly controlling a gap between valve bodies. CONSTITUTION: A water meter(1) for multiply preventing backflow comprises a lower casing member(2) and first check valves(16,16'). An expanded inner diameter(43) is formed by expanding the inner diameter of a water outlet pipe(8) of the lower casing member. The first check valves are multiply installed inside the water outlet pipe of the water meter. Rubber O-rings(28,28') are dually installed in the O-ring grooves of the first check valves. A spacer is inserted into a gap between the first check valves. Both ends of the first check valves are fixed using C-rings(13,13').
