PURPOSE: A parking brake system for a trailer vehicle is provided to increase operating force and link operation stroke since a left link and a right link are spot-symmetrical. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake system for a trailer vehicle comprises a drum, left and right brake shoes(30,31), left and right links(50,51), a spring(60), and a back plate(70). The drum has a cylindrical shape and rotates with the wheel. Lining is formed on the outside of the left and right brake shoes to be rubbed with the inside of the drum, and the left and right brake shoes provide braking power. The left and right links presses the left and right brake shoes to the drum by the rotation of the rotational plate. One side of the left and right links connects to the rotational plate, and the other side connects to the left brake shoe and the right brake shoe, respectively. The spring connects the upper end of the left and right brake shoes. The left brake shoe, the right brake shoe, and the rotational plate are located on the back plate.
