FITC-LABELED MAGNESIUM ORGANOCLAY AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An FITC(fluorescein isothiocyanate)-labeled magnesium organoclay and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable the wide application to physics, chemistry, biology and engineering fields. CONSTITUTION: An FITC(fluorescein isothiocyanate)-labeled magnesium organoclay is such that fluorescein isothiocyanate and magnesium organoclay are conjugated by thiourea linkage. The magnesium organoclay is magnesium phyllosilicate. A method for preparing the FITC(fluorescein isothiocyanate)-labeled magnesium organoclay comprises the steps of: conjugating fluorescein isothiocyanate and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane; and adding MgCl2.
