The method involves determining position of the optical system from direct measurement, which is carried out by means of laser arrangement (41), by evaluating the intensity of reflected ray of light (66) of laser arrangement on the optical surface of optical system and which will be reflected into a telescope. An independent claim is also included for the device for detecting optical system.
