PURPOSE: An HFC transport network connection state device and a method thereof are provided to display the intensity of the electric wave on a screen by detecting a connector which leaks a radio wave. CONSTITUTION: A leaked radio wave detection member(20) detects a radio wave leakage signal which is generated from a connector. A radio wave leakage state detector receives the detected radio wave leakage signal. The radio wave leakage state detector compares the received radio wave leakage signal with threshold levels. The radio wave leakage state detector gradually displays the intensity of the radio wave.
