摘要 PURPOSE: A bi-directional transceiver for optical communication is provided to simultaneously pass different optical signals in up and down directions to selectively expand channels by a prism, thereby increasing efficiency of data transmission. CONSTITUTION: A prism unit(240) passes optical signals of different wavelengths in up and down directions at the same time. The prism unit arbitrarily controls an entry angle of the optical signal. A thermoelectric element unit lowers a high temperature by optical signal transmission. A channel expanding unit(250) selectively transmits and receives the outputted optical signal through at least one optical filter among a CWDM filter, a 3dB filter, and a band pass filter.
