PURPOSE: A supported catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides, a method for preparing the same, and a method for removing the nitrogen oxides using the same are provided to reduce energy consumption using sewage-sludge carbides with low activation temperature. CONSTITUTION: A supported catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides includes sewage-sludge carbides and manganese oxides supported by the sewage-sludge carbides. The BET surface area of the supported catalyst is between 20 and 70m^2/g. The average pore volume of the supported catalyst is between 0.01 and 0.07 cm^3/g. The supported catalyst is chemically activated. The BET surface area of the chemically activated supported catalyst is between 550 and 800 m^2/g. The average pore volume of the chemically activated supported catalyst is between 0.3 and 0.6cm^3/g. The amount of the manganese oxides is between 1 and 5 weight% with respect to the total weight of the supported catalyst.
