PURPOSE: An automatic rotation apparatus for a vehicle seat is provided to reduce failure rate since the rotation force of a drive motor is transmitted to a sheet rotational plate or is blocked from the sheet rotational plate. CONSTITUTION: An automatic rotation apparatus(1) for a vehicle seat comprises a base plate(10), a drive motor(11), a sheet rotary unit(12), a rotation restriction unit(13), a restraint force release unit(14), and an elastic member(15) for transferring rotation force. An axis hole is formed at the center of the base plate. The drive motor is installed on the side of the lower surface of the base plate. The lower end of the sheet rotary unit is inserted into the axis hole of the base plate to be rotatable. A sheet is mounted on the upper side of the sheet rotary unit. One end of the rotation restriction unit elastically supports the side of the upper end of the sheet rotary unit, and the rotation restriction unit is installed on the other side of the upper surface of the base plate. The restraint force release unit is installed in the axis hole of the base plate to be rotatable. As both ends of the elastic member for transferring rotation force are supported by the restraint force release unit, the elastic member for transferring rotation force engages and rotates with the restraint force release unit. |
