The invention relates to a surgical site frame intended for endodontic treatment and receiving an extendable dam which is placed around the tooth or group of teeth to be treated, said frame comprising two parts in the form of a horizontal U in which the ends of the respective arms thereof face one another and are connected by a hinge so that one of the parts can be folded in relation to the other, said hinged connections only opening outward for the partial removal of the dam and to allow direct access to the buccal cavity. The external periphery of the frame is provided with spikes on which the dam is engaged and stretched and the frame has a front face and a rear face, the latter facing the buccal cavity. The dam is stretched and applied against the internal side of the frame. The invention is characterised in that the rear side (AR) of the lower arms (113) of the frame (100) includes spacing elements (130) for separating the dam from each lower arm (113) of the frame and for forming a space for collecting residue and liquids during treatment and allowing the suction thereof. |
