GLASS PLATE FOR PLASMA DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption and the cost of a plasma display by conceiving the idea of a glass plate for a plasma display saving the power consumption compared with a conventional one. SOLUTION: The glass plate for the plasma display contains≤6.5 mass% alkali metal oxide (Li2O+Na2O+K2O:total of Li2O, Na2O, K2O) and has the dielectric constant of≤6.5 in 1 MHz frequency at 25°C.
