PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the peelability of a recording material in a fixing device. SOLUTION: An uneven part 63C is disposed in the surface on the outlet side of a nip section, of a contact surface (contact surface in contact with a fixing belt) of a pressing pad 63. This uneven part 63C has a projection along the moving direction of the fixing belt, and a recess is disposed adjacently to the projection. In the direction crossing (direction orthogonal to) the conveying direction of paper, a plurality of projections and recesses are alternately arranged.
