ANTIBODY CAPABLE OF RECOGNIZING HLA CLASS I

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an antibody which recognizes HLA class I and has a significant cell death-inducing activity. For this purpose, mice were immunized with FLAG-tagged solubilized HLA-A. Four days after the final immunization, mouse spleen cells were fused with mouse myeloma cells. Next, hybridoma cells were screened using cell aggregation-inducing activity and cell death-inducing activity as indications and thus a monoclonal antibody F17B1 showing a strong cell death-inducing activity was selected. The sequences in the H chain variable region and L chain variable region of the mouse monoclonal antibody F17B1 were identified and the antibody was humanized. Further, cell death was induced by humanized anti-HLA class I antibody H2-G1d_L1-k0. As a result, it was discovered that H2-G1d_L1-k0 concentration-dependently inhibited cell proliferation in IM9 cell line.
