Disclosed is a massager in which side walls and a backrest that support massaging members are provided with a unified form. The massager is equipped with a backrest (1) that is provided, in an integrated fashion, with a backrest part (70) that has a built-in massage mechanism for massaging the back of a user, and a pair of projecting parts (14) that project towards both the left and the right from at least the top part of the abovementioned backrest part (70); side walls (15) that each project forwards from the front of the abovementioned pair of projecting parts (14); and air bags (16) for massaging the sides of a user resting on the abovementioned backrest part (70), that are each disposed on the inner surface of the abovementioned pair of side walls (15).
