PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus restraining an influence on a communication Karaoke system, of a possible operation abnormality in each Karaoke apparatus configuring the communication Karaoke system as a P2P type network system.

SOLUTION: A router Rm provided with a routing function for performing communication between a store network NLm constructed within a store Pm and an external network NW is equipped with: a P2P control function for controlling the communication of an overlay network 9 formed via the network NW; a surrounding controller for detecting the abnormality of the operation in the router Rm; and a control unit for restraining at least the P2P control function, based on the detected abnormality of the operation.
