<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a load cycle and/or the weight of a cargo suspension means with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: This load cycle automatic detection system for a cargo carrying machine includes steps of load change detection for automatically detecting a load change in accordance with an output signal from at least a pull-up force measurement device, cargo position detection for detecting a cargo position in at least a horizontal direction, and load cycle detection for automatically detecting a load cycle. The load cycle detection is performed in accordance with output signals in at least the load change detection and the load position detection. The load cycle detection detects the cargo position as a cargo pickup point when a positive load change is recognized, and evaluates the positive load change as the start of a new load cycle in accordance with the determination of whether the cargo is moved by a predetermined distance from the cargo pickup point in the horizontal direction or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
