<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which achieves energy saving, simplifies a structure, while reducing the cost and the space. <P>SOLUTION: This cooling device includes a medium circulation cycle formed by connecting a frequency-variable compressor, a four-way valve, an indoor heat exchanger, a pressure reduction means controlled in a restriction state and a full-open state, and an outdoor heat exchanger in sequence with piping. A pressure of a liquid phase refrigerant is reduced by the pressure reduction means which is in the restriction state and the liquid phase refrigerant is evaporated in the indoor heat exchanger so as to cool the indoor air when an outdoor temperature is higher than an indoor temperature, and the compressor is operated at a lower speed than in the gas phase refrigerant compression and the liquid phase medium cooled by the outdoor air is transferred to the indoor heat exchanger so as to cool the indoor air when the outdoor temperature is lower than the indoor temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
