PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit making appropriate color mixture correction over an entire image capturing region. SOLUTION: The image processing unit corrects the color mixture between adjacent pixels of a solid-state image pickup device, where pixels including an optoelectric transducer are disposed two-dimensionally in a matrix, and color filters of a plurality of colors are disposed on the surface of the pixels. The image processing unit has: a storage section (120) for storing a correction parameter corresponding to a position of a target pixel, namely a correction parameter for removing a color mixture signal leaking to the target pixel from the adjacent pixel; and a correction section (121) for subtracting the color mixture signal from a pixel signal of the solid-state image pickup device according to the position of the pixel using the correction parameter stored in the storage section.
