The assembly has a valve element (10a) inserted stationarily in an auxiliary stream path with a permanently open throttle cross section (20). The valve element is formed as an assembly unit with an external housing (14a) and a check valve. The check valve is formed from a valve ball (16), a housing-side sealing seat (18) for the valve ball and a valve cap (17) leading radially the valve ball. The valve element comprises an internal housing (22a) fastened in the external housing, where the sealing seat is formed at the internal housing, and the valve cap is held at the internal housing.
