<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more promptly recover vehicle driving force when motor drive wheels slip in a vehicle for driving one wheel by an engine and the other wheel by a motor. <P>SOLUTION: Motor driving force is decreased (Step 204) to recover grip and, at the same time, to estimate a road friction coefficient (Steps 206, 207).
