<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material excellent in color developing sensitivity, chemical resistance, and sticking-proof properties. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording material includes sequentially on a support: an under coat layer containing a pigment and a binder as principal components; a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer; and a protective layer where the under coat layer contains 1-10 mass% of a styrene-acrylic based copolymer resin obtained from a styrene-acrylic based copolymer resin emulsion based on an under coat total solid content, and further a coating liquid for the thermal recording layer and a coating liquid for a protective layer are applied and dried by a simultaneous multilayer curtain coating method, and thereby the thermal recording layer and the protective layer are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
