PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably improve assemblability of a front package tray to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: In a light shielding device 10, a guide member 20 is rotatable and the guide member 20 can be stored when the light shielding device 10 is mounted to a vehicle body. An arm length La of a rotary arm 50 is ensured by providing a rotation support part 34E on a width-direction inner side of a width-direction end portion of a screen 12. Since the arm length La of the rotary arm 50 is ensured, the guide member 20 can be positioned on a deployment side (side of an arrowed line A) of the screen 12 because of the ensured arm length La when the guide member 20 is stored. Further, since a rotational shaft 53 of the rotary arm 50 is inclined, a gap 78 can be ensured between the guide member 20 and a front package tray 72 positioned at a lower side of the guide member 20 in a vehicular vertical direction when the stored guide member 20 is positioned closer to the deployment side of the screen 12 as described above.
