PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device installable on the outer wall of a building which faces in any direction and efficiently receiving sunlight or outdoor light to illuminate inside a room brightly. SOLUTION: The lighting device includes: a light guide duct 11 having a reflection surface inside and disposed on an outer wall 2 of a building, with one side facing inside a room and the other side facing outdoor; a diffusion plate 122 provided on the indoor-side end of the light guide duct 11, protruding from the end and expanding radially toward the inside the room; and a shell cone 14 provided substantially coaxially with the diffusion plate 122 and expanding in a head-truncated form substantially parallel to the inner reflection surface of the diffusion plate 122. The shell cone 14 has an outer surface serving as a reflection surface, and a head-truncated opening 141 open inside the indoor-side end of the light guide duct 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
