PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centering device that facilitates interconnecting work in a horizontal state for a large-sized turbine axle. SOLUTION: A centering device includes a plurality of support rods 4a, 4b that respectively support connection end side of a fastened axle 1 and a fastening axle 2, and jack bolts 5a, 5b for adjustment provided on each of the plurality of support rods, that adjust a level of support surface of the fastened axle. The support rods 4a, 4b are arranged to have a predetermined clearance relative to axial direction of the fastened axle 1 and the fastening axle 2. When performing the centering to the fastened axle 1 and the fastening axle 2, the centering is enabled by adjusting vertical or horizontal direction of the fastened axle and the fastening axle, by adjusting the protruding lengths of support end sides of the plurality of support rods 4a, 4b by using the jack bolts 5a, 5b for adjustment.
