EXHAUST EMISSION TREATMENT DEVICE FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission treatment device for a diesel engine which has high exhaust gas sealing performances of a case connection part and in which same components can be used for flanges of the case connection part.

SOLUTION: A diameter of a DOC case outlet side end part 6 is reduced from a diameter of a DOC case middle side part 6a adjacent to the DOC case outlet side end part 6. The DOC case outlet side end part 6a is internally fitted in a DPF case inlet side part 7. An outer diameter of the DOC middle side part 6a and an outer diameter of the DPF inlet side part 7 are set same. A DOC case flange 21 and a DPF case flange 30 are attached to outer circumferences of the DOC case middle side part 6a and the DPF case inlet side end part 7 respectively. Consequently, same components are used for the DOC case flange 21 and the DPF case flange 30 which have a same inner diameter.
