PURPOSE: A method for preparing grain for mosaic handcraft is provided to maintain the characteristics of grain and to prevent the deformation of the body of the grain. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing grain for mosaic handcraft comprises: a step of drying grain under 90 degrees Celsius; a step of mixing 10-95 weight% of volatile material, 0.0001-20 weight% of insecticidal agent, 0.000001-40 weight% of soluble coloring agent to obtain a mixture solution; a step of penetrating the mixture solution into the dried grain; and a step of volatilizing for final drying.
