A frame 10 for a tractor-mounted offset backhoe has a pair of spaced, transversely and horizontally extending slots 15 for receiving bolts 17 used to clamp a boom-supporting carriage 16 against a rear vertical wall 11 of the frame, and a chamber for storing a longhandled wrench 42 adapted to be used on the bolts. The frame comprises members welded together, and it has an opening 36 giving access to the chamber and closed by a pivoted cover 37. |
