PURPOSE: An ultrasonic probe and a vibration control method for the same are provided to reduce the vibration caused by the movement of an array element. CONSTITUTION: A vibration control method for an ultrasonic probe is as follows. When an array element of an ultrasonic probe reciprocates in order to obtain information on a test part of an object, the vibration caused by the movement of the array element is measured(10). The following vibration is predicted from the measured vibration(20). The operation of the motor which drives the array element is controlled in the direction to offset the predicted vibration(30). |
