<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of securely adding an additive into a container body storing a main agent and preparing a mixture. <P>SOLUTION: The mixing container 10 is used to prepare the mixture by adding the additive M2 from a cup 5 into the container body 1 and mixing a main substance M1 and the additive M2. In the mixing container, an attaching cylinder 3 projects from the barrel portion 1A of the container body 1. The inside of the attaching cylinder communicates with the inside of the container body 1 and enables a cap member 4 to be screw-engaged on the attaching cylinder to be removable. The cap member 4 includes: a top-having cylindrical outer cylinder 4A screw-engaged on the attaching cylinder 3; and supports 4B disposed radially inside the outer cylinder 4A at circumferential intervals, and supporting the cup 5 from radially outside. In addition, the cap member is configured to hold the cup 5 in the position where a film material is exposed downward.
