PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper member fixing structure wherein a mounted bumper member does not fall off in scissors for gardening or the like. SOLUTION: On blade bodies 1 and 2, a notched portion 6 in the shape of being opened to a side edge is formed at the opposing side edge part more on the base side relative to a pivot position. To the notched portion 6, a fitting portion of the bumper member 7 including the fitting portion 7a having the same planar shape as the notched portion 6 and the same thickness as the blade bodies 1 and 2 and an abutting portion 7b from the fitting portion 7a and projecting toward the side edge is fitted. While fitting the fitting portion 7a of the bumper member 7 to the notched portion 6 of the blade bodies 1 and 2, a holding handle 4 formed into a roughly U shape on the cross-section is inserted from the outer side part, and while clamping both front and back surfaces of the fitting portion 7a of the bumper member 7 by the holding handle, the holding handles 4 and 5 are fixed to the blade bodies 1 and 2.
