PURPOSE: A peripheral device control apparatus in a local area network for providing a bedroom environment to a user is provided to control the peripheral device of a bed according to a state of a user and to sense a biometric signal of a user. CONSTITUTION: A bed(110) includes a plurality of sensors. The bed senses a biometric signal of a user through a plurality of sensors. A context repeater(130) converts the biometric signal to state information. A controller(150) searches for a peripheral device according to the state information. The change of peripheral device is required for a bedroom environment. The controller controls the searched peripheral device.
