PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having excellent abrasion resistance and operation stability and applicable to a case of use in the hard travelling condition such as circuit travelling. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has at least two grooves 2 extended in the tire circumferential direction in a tread surface 1 and several lines of land parts 4 divided by these grooves 2. A chamfer part 5 is provided in a vehicle outside edge part of the land part 4. When width of the N-th chamfer part 5 counted from outside of the vehicle is W<SB>N</SB>and a distance from a vehicle outside grounding end of the edge part provided with the N-th chamfer part 5 is L<SB>N</SB>, the chamfer part 5 formed in the vehicle outside edge part satisfies a formula (1): W<SB>N</SB>=-α x L<SB>N</SB>+β in a range at least of 70% of the grounding width TCW outside the vehicle, wherein α is an arbitrary constant selected from a range of 0.03≤α≤0.06 and β is an arbitrary constant selected from a range of 6≤β≤8.
