PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an electric power steering device eliminating a sense of incongruity of steering due to a dead zone when a duty ratio is small is regard to a driving circuit carrying out PWM drive of a motor for the electric power steering device. SOLUTION: In the controller for the electric power steering device carrying out PWM control of the motor on the basis of current control value calculated from a current value of the motor applying steering assistance force to a steering mechanism and a steering assistance command value calculated by a calculating means on the basis of steering torque generated in a steering shaft, a voltage dither signal generating/controlling means is provided controlling an H bridge circuit driving the motor by generating a voltage dither signal when the duty ratio of the PWM control is a predetermined value or less. |
