Automatic cattle trough with a valve which can be connected to a heater line and whose valve-opening closing body is firmly connected with a valve rod which projects out of the valve housing through an outlet opening and within the housing has a thickened end and a channel which extends axially in the valve rod. The outer end of the channel opens at the outer end of the valve rod and its inner end opens into a flow chamber within the housing. This chamber is sealed with respect to the outlet by a seal around the valve rod, whose elastic deformability allows a pivot motion of the valve rod to open the valve. The seal (17) has the form of a sheath and the plug of the valve rod (8) in the outlet opening (13) towards one side ensures an increased swivel range for the valve rod. |
