PURPOSE: An automatic control apparatus for a turn signal of an automobile and a method thereof are provided to improve the safety driving of a driver by sensing a lane and handing a blinker. CONSTITUTION: In an automatic control apparatus for a turn signal of an automobile and a method thereof, a sensor(103) senses the angle of a steering wheel. A blinker sensor(105) detects the operation state of a blinker manual switch. A right lane sensor(107) is installed in the right of a vehicle and senses a right lane. A left lane sensor(109) is installed in the left of a vehicle and senses a left lane. A blinker manipulation unit(111) controls left and right blinkers according to a controller.
