Dishwasher with sorption medium and fresh air feed

The dishwasher has a drying air ventilator (15) and a return line (16) with a return valve (17) circulating air between a tub (1) and a sorption medium (12) i.e. zeolite, in a sorption phase to dry washing products i.e. dishes, in the tub and deliver moisture from the tub. A supply line (19) and a fresh air ventilator (20) guide fresh air into the tub through the sorption medium, and a heater (22) heats the sorption medium in a desorption phase to deliver the moisture from the medium through an outlet opening (24) of the tub. A water container (13) is thermally coupled with the medium. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a dishwasher.
