PURPOSE: An apparatus for degreasing nitrogen oxide in a diesel engine is provided to reduce the weights and weight of the apparatus by eliminating an HP-EGR system and to improve fuel efficiency because LP-EGR gas penetrates through an LP-EGR cooler and an intercooler. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for degreasing nitrogen oxide in a diesel engine comprises a turbo charger(40), a Diesel Particulate matter Filter(50), a first LP-EGR line(60), a second LP-EGR line(80), a bypass line(90), and an LP-EGR valve(97). The turbo charger is connected to an exhaust pipe of a diesel engine. The DPF is installed in the rear of a turbine(41) of the turbo charger. The first LP-EGR line connects the rear end of the DPF and the compressor(42) of the turbine charger. The second LP-EGR line connects the compressor of the turbine charger and the inhaled air in the diesel engine. The second LP-EGR line comprises an intercooler(85). The bypass line connects the front of the turbine and the front of the DPF. The bypass line comprises a bypass valve(95). The LP-EGR valve is installed in a connection line which connects the rear of the DPF and a muffler(99).
