The element, for the filling of openings in separator and shielding walls of reactor assemblies designed in the shape of a building stone with prismatic cross section. The shape is stable and the element has an outer layer capable of supporting its own weight with a granular filling. Two diagonally opposite corners are turned inwards to right angled notches.
