PURPOSE: A fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device and a method of fabricating the same are provided to embody wide viewing angle by improving transmittance. CONSTITUTION: A fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display device comprises a first and a second gate wirings(110a, 110b) on a substrate in which a first and second pixel region is defied, and a gate wiring(110) extended to a first direction. A first and a second data lines(130a,130b) are extended to a second direction, and includes a data wiring(130) which is crossing the first and the second gate wirings. TFTs are placed at the wiring crossing points. A pixel electrode with a plate shape is placed on the first and the second pixel regions and connected to the TFT.
